Getting Better Super Sustainable

  • Product Description

Ready to fall in love? Okay, because it's going to happen fast. At least it did when we first met the team at Moonshot, makers of climate-friendly crackers and one of the most sustainable brands we've ever met. Their ingredients are regeneratively grown (an agricultural practice that sequesters carbon from our atmosphere and returns health and nourishment to our soils), their business is carbon neutral, and even the bakery that makes the crackers is LEED-certified, powered by clean energy, uses recycled materials in production, donates any excess crackers to the local food bank and turns any leftover organic byproduct into chicken feed. Whew! That was a mouthful. But these crackers are too. Did we mention Moonshot is a Black woman lead business with a brilliant female leadership team?

Big fan of sourdough for its naturally fermented goodness? Us too, and having it in cracker form makes it easy to enjoy on the reg. These go excellent with cheese, of course, but also with a swoop or swoosh of hummus or labne, or perhaps topped with a nut butter, sliced apple and some honey. You do you.

  • End of Life
    • · This product is not 100% compostable, but the team at Moonshot thinks about sustainability way beyond just their packaging, which means so much more to us! All shipping materials and packaging are recyclable, and Moonshot doesn't include any excess packaging. The cracker box itself is recycled and recyclable. The inner lining is plastic-- but it is also recyclable. The team is working on a compostable option to come!
    • · These crackers are so delicious, we're pretty sure there won't be any left for you to worry about getting rid of.
  • Shipping & Delivery
    • · Your order contains 3 boxes of Sourdough Sea Salt Crackers and will ship 1-3 days after you place your order.
  • FAQ
    • · Moonshot doesn't just offset their own emissions-- they double their estimated emissions, just to be safe. This puts them in climate positive territory, which we're hugely excited about.
    • · The bakery that produces each cracker is a LEED Certified building that uses 100% renewable energy, motion sensored technology that reduces energy consumption, and recycled materials in production. Everything down to the ink cartridges in their printers get recycled, and any waste generated in the process of making each of these cracker gets made into chicken feed! Short code product gets donated to a local food bank. Food issue and energy consumption are two issues we *really* care about, so this is huge to us.
