The journey from start to complete sustainability is anything but linear, so we designed a little barometer to make comparing products easier.

Yup, its craftsman wood exterior is made from fallen trees. The metal lid and bin are removable, so you can easily lift the light metal interior to empty or fill the compost bin.

    End of Life

  • · Gee, we hope you don't ever want to chuck this one. If you must, you could reuse the interior metal bin as food or waste storage, and the wood facade could be cut up and repurposed.
  • · This ships about 3-5 business days after you order it.
  • · The Mini Fallen Tree Countertop Compost Bin is 7.5" L x 7.5" W x 6" H, which is just a little bigger than half the size of our larger version, and a perfect square.
  • · This Mini Fallen Tree Countertop Compost Bin can hold up to 2.7 quarts of good-for-your-soil compost. Looking for a replacement lid or insert? We can help with that! Shoot us an email at hi@goldune.com.
  • · Since these are made from fallen trees, each and every one is different! Only bring this compost companion into your home if you're comfortable with the natural variances in wood-- grain, sapwood, pins, knots, texture, etc.
