This article is part of our "Round Ups" series, where we share things that inspire us, guide us, or are just really cool. Today, our June Book Club pick.
Better late than never (whoops!). Our June book club pick is a little different-- we've been picking great climate and sustainability related reads, month after month, but we wanted to explore a psychological angle at the halfway point of our 2021 book club reads.
Dedicated by Pete Davis takes a look at commitment-- what it means to commit to a town, a partner, a hobby, a career, or a cause in the era of boundless options and infinite browsing. As it pertains to the climate crisis, we loved the way Dedicated examined what it actually takes to move the needle on policy and public opinion. Think of it as a guide to the "how" and not the "what" of the climate movement.
We're excited to hear what you think of us mixing it up a bit!
