This article is part of our "Round Ups" series, where we share things that inspire us, guide us, or are just really cool. Today, a brief discussion of where we're at, plus our September Sustainable Book Club contender.
The IPCC report is behind us, but we're still very much a variety of climate-caused natural disasters. (Psst-- remember to sign up for our newsletter for a weekly dose of climate optimism, the latest news, and sustainable discoveries! This week and last week we featured ways to help out in the face of climate catastrophes, no matter your budget.) It's pretty dizzying to navigate, at best. At worst, the climate grief and anxiety can be crushing.
We've been gravitating towards reads and content that explore creative problem solving (hint: our September content theme!) for posterity. Think less doom and gloom and "whatever will we do!" handwringing, and more imperfect solutions that are absolutely worth a shot-- which is what brought us to Eric Holthaus's The Future Earth. We're excited to hear what you think.
If you're new to Goldune's Sustainable Book Club, we rounded up all of our reads and gave you a quick vibe on which you might prefer to start with based on your interests right over here. There's no right order, and we'd love for you to read along with us whenever and however you feel most comfortable and excited!
